Selling your tour through our reseller networks
2 min readWhat is VoiceMap's reseller network?
VoiceMap works with online travel agencies and other resellers to distribute tours. When someone books a tour through a reseller, we automatically send them a voucher code and details on how to access and use the tour. We also provide support to people who purchase the tours.
Adding your tour to our reseller network is a great way to grow your audience and increase sales. However, we can only list paid, public tours that have already been published. If it's a free tour or one of a paid, ticketed attraction it unfortunately isn't eligible to be listed on our reseller network since resellers, specifically Viator, won't allow this.
Can you add my VoiceMap tour to TripAdvisor?
The simple answer is yes! It's also better if we add the tour on Viator on your behalf because we already have a well-established relationship with them, can automatically provide unique voucher codes, and provide customer support if the need arises.
How does it work?
TripAdvisor and Viator are connected. Viator is TripAdvisor's experiences platform, so when your tour is listed on Viator, it automatically appears on TripAdvisor as well. This gives you exposure on both platforms with a single listing.
When a customer purchases your tour through Viator or TripAdvisor:
- They receive a voucher code automatically
- They use the voucher code to download the tour on VoiceMap
- VoiceMap handles customer support for the tour experience
Revenue share
Resellers take a commission on each sale, which is separate from VoiceMap's standard revenue share. The combined effect means your per-sale earnings are lower through resellers, but the additional volume can more than make up for it.
How to get listed
To add your tour to VoiceMap's reseller network:
- Make sure your tour is published and priced
- Contact your editor or reach out to VoiceMap directly
- We'll handle the listing process on Viator and other reseller platforms
- Once live, your tour will appear on Viator, TripAdvisor, and potentially other connected platforms
