VoiceMap tours might be digital products, but because they're so closely tied to the real world, posters and other printed media are often an effective way to increase sales.

When we've approached businesses and other organisations, asking if they'll display a poster, they're normally thrilled to hear that they've already been mentioned, at no cost, on a tour that passes by their door.

Ready-to-print poster and flyer designs

We offer A4 posters and DL flyers that are ready to print. They include a QR code that takes listeners to your tour on voicemap.me as well as step-by-step instructions, explaining how to access your tour on the web, in-app and using a voucher code.

Where to place posters and flyers

Think about where potential listeners are most likely to be:

  • Hotels and hostels near your tour's starting point
  • Tourist information centres
  • Cafes and restaurants mentioned on or near your tour route
  • Museums, galleries, and cultural venues related to your tour's theme
  • Transport hubs (train stations, airports, bus stops)
  • Local shops and businesses along the route
  • Community notice boards

Tips for print promotion

  • Include a QR code — make it easy for people to go directly to your tour from the poster
  • Keep it simple — a clear headline, an attractive image, a QR code, and brief instructions are all you need
  • Mention the location — people are more likely to be interested if they can see the poster is about something nearby
  • Ask permission — always ask before putting up posters in businesses or public spaces
  • Check back — posters get taken down or covered up. Check periodically and replace them.
